Biography

Mauro Castrucci’s musical journey began in the late seventies. From the outset he devoted himself to writing original songs, which he perceived as the most fascinating form of personal expression.

The moments he is most attached to are undoubtedly his experience with Spiritus Mundi (grunge, 90s), the decade spent with The True Lies Band (rock‑rock blues) with the release of 'Studio Sessions' (2021) and 'Is It Too Late?' (2023), the brief but intense period with Royal Kebab (Power pop) which paved the way for new ideas and contaminations, and the release of the single 'Man on the Sea' (west‑coast sound) (2019).
